Rooted in Creative Healing

I didn’t plan to build this. My body made that decision for me.

I’m Maria Longo. Master health and wellness coach, artist, facilitator, and someone who has had to find her way back to herself more than once.

This space started as a response. To burnout. To emotional overload. To that quiet, persistent feeling that there had to be a better way to live. A way that didn’t require powering through or shutting down just to survive the day.

I spent years in professional kitchens in Manhattan. Fast-paced. Demanding. Built on survival. I learned to move fast, stay quiet, and overfunction. It looked like strength. Underneath, I was coming undone.

My body finally made me stop during COVID. Chronic hives. Complete collapse. Working in a hospital kitchen on the front lines while my body was telling me to listen. That moment became a turning point. It also became the beginning of something honest.

I picked up a paintbrush. That changed everything.

Creativity runs in my family. My great uncle Vincent Longo was an artist whose work hangs in the Whitney Museum in New York. My father makes things by hand. My wife Stephanie creates alongside me. I grew up watching people I love build something from nothing. Now we do the same.

Art became the place I exhaled. Mindfulness became the place I softened. Emotional intelligence gave me the language I never had. Every tool I share was learned through the mess. Through slowing down, listening in, and starting over.

What I offer is rooted in real life. Not perfection. Not quick fixes. Just honest tools that meet you where you are.

My artwork, and the message behind it, have been featured on CBS New York.

If you feel deeply, hold a lot, and want to feel lighter without fixing everything first, you are in the right place. You do not have to arrive perfect. You do not need to explain your exhaustion.

You just need a spark.

This is that space. And if you found it, it probably found you first.

At some point, reading stops being enough.

You start noticing more.
Patterns.
Reactions.
The way you show up in certain moments.

That is where the work begins.

Inside the paid space, I go deeper into that layer.

Not more content.
Not surface level tools.

The patterns you keep getting pulled into.
Why they keep repeating.
What it actually looks like to move through them differently.

This is not passive work.

You step into it when you are ready to stop just reading and start understanding what is underneath it.

If you are ready for that next layer, you can step into the paid space here.
